Design is about flow, pressure, and vibrations. Nature is the greatest designer, and it provides me with an unlimited source of inspiration. I take a very physical architectural approach – it’s about how people will feel in a space, how the urban landscape will feel in it, and nature too. I like to consider every stakeholder in the design process – the user, the context, and the living elements. I look at what is there and how we can make it work. It can be a laborious process, but it will always generate good design.
With a master’s degree in Infrastructure and Coastal Project Engineering along with a master’s in Architecture (Civil Building), I bring a unique design insight to the projects I work on, with flexibility across a diverse range of typologies.
I’m inspired by flows. The flows of nature and people, and what they create. Depending on their strength, flows can impact different elements. As designers, we play a part in ensuring we balance different flows in our designs.
